Necessity is the mother of invention... A mother's love for her fussy child sparked inventiveness and ingenuity to create a revolutionary product which has been soothing baby's fussy time for over 10 years. Every parent will agree that they would do just about anything to soothe their crying child. Most parents also have their own "crying baby" horror stories which seemed to test their very sanity. The "Original" WubbaNub was created to solve a common dilemma most young families face.
The Birth of WubbaNub... They say "necessity is the mother of invention " and for Carla Schneider, it was an absolute necessity that she soothe her infant baby on their first vacation as a family. What was supposed to be a relatively relaxing, blissful time was replaced with non-stop fussing and crying. After an entire night of the ever-persistent "missing pacifier syndrome", Carla knew she needed to take matters into her own hands. She found the hotel sewing kit and took her baby's favorite soft plush toy and sewed the pacifier right onto it. Thus, a happy ending for the Schneider family's vacation and the birth of the first WubbaNub!
The luv for WubbaNub... Although pacifiers have been a family staple for numerous years, Carla's patented concept turned out to be a truly innovative improvement. Moms recognized the peaceful tranquility their children received and spread the word along to others. That word quickly spread to hospitals, who quickly recognized the products unique benefits. the slight weight of the plush animal keeps the pacifier in place near the baby. It also provides comfort and makes it so much easier for the baby to grasp and manipulate the pacifier themselves. Which means fewer bouncing, rolling and lost pacifiers and less rooting around in the stroller, crib or bag to find where the pacifier went.
