Carla Schneider of Orange, Connecticut came up with the concept in 1998. On a family vacation, her 3-month old baby fussed at night and a hospital pacifier was the only thing to soothe him. Problem was, every time the baby fell asleep, the pacifier fell out, and the crying started again. After countless hours holding the pacifier in place, Schneider had an inspiration. She sewed a small stuffed animal to the pacifier and it stayed firmly in baby's mouth. The WubbaNub™ was born.

"When I returned home from vacation all my friends and family wanted the WubbaNub™ design," says Carla Schneider. "It was then that I realized this was a marketable product that could help parents everywhere with their fussy baby pacifier problems.
