WubbaNub Safety

Trebco Specialty Products, Inc. mandates all of our infant/baby products are completely safety tested, at independent testing facilities and meet or exceed all applicable safety standards as set forth by the regulatory bodies in the United States. This includes physical/mechanical standards, as well as recent legislation regarding chemicals such as BPA, lead and Phthalates.

All parties involved in the manufacture of Trebco Specialty Products Inc. products are required to follow these guidelines and all tests are conducted by registered independent testing facilities.

An example of the steps and measures our company takes to ensure we create a quality product are:

  • Design

Whether they are specifying how items are sewn or
which fabrics to use our designers make decisions
to keep our products safe and of quality.

  • Testing

construction and fabrics of our WubbaNub
products are tested to meet US safety standards.

  • Inspection

Ongoing inspections during and after production
are an integral part of our safety procedures.

As a manufacturer of baby products and in our diligent efforts to promote “safety”, we have found educational and informative resources for parents and caregivers to reference for critical safety information, which will assist in establishing safe environments for babies. Among them are the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. For questions or for more information, please speak with your physician.

  • ALWAYS REMEMBER to keep ventilation holes clear.
  • NEVER hang a pacifier around an infant's neck.
  • ALWAYS SUPERVISE an infant when he/she is using a pacifier.
  • REMOVE all plastic packaging before the first use.
  • MAKE SURE you're always using an age-appropriate pacifier.
  • KEEP A CLOSE EYE on nipples and inspect them carefully before each use by pulling in all directions. They can wear out over time and should be replaced at the first sign of wear.
  • SHARING IS CARING, but pacifiers should be reserved for one infant only for safety and hygienic reasons.
  • ALWAYS put baby to sleep on his or her back on a firm mattress.
  • AVOID soft bedding (pillows, comforters, blankets, etc.) because these present suffocation hazards.
  • NOTHING IN THE CRIB BUT THE BABY! For sleep time, remove all toys, stuffed animals and decorative items.
