My son’s name is Truett. He is 3 months old now!
He was born with a double arch coming off of his heart. His defect is so rare that it affects less than 1% of babies born a year. The way they found it was very traumatic. He aspirated, stopped breathing, I had to do CPR on him until the EMS arrived. They intubated him and took him to the hospital only to be life-flighted to the nearby children’s hospital where they spent three days trying to figure out what was wrong with him. They finally did a CT scan and he was in surgery the next day to do the repair. He is alive and healthy! We are so blessed and thankful for our little miracle!
