We are expecting our heart warrior on February 27, 2021. Our surprise baby has 2 heart defects, coarctation of the aorta and ventricular septal defect. Baby Bean as we call him or her will be undergoing open-heart surgery within the first few days of life at the amazing Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Tx. Then again between 3-6 months of life. We have a long but very rewarding journey ahead of us.
