This is Ellowyn. She was born with a few heart defects, including truncus arteriosus and interrupted aortic arch. She underwent open-heart surgery to repair her heart at 6 days old. She will need other open-heart surgeries as her body grows and her heart outgrows the conduit they used to repair it. She’s almost 5 months old now and the sweetest baby ever!
