Braxton Ace Diaz was born 10/30/2020 and 4 days later was rushed to ER he was crying at 5 am and all of a sudden his cry went off he started grunting so i knew something was wrong then I moved his blanket and his skin was mottled. When we got to the ER it was a matter of minutes by the time they weighed him and put him in a room that he went into cardiac arrest and they had to shock him back…tried everything they could to stabilize him and waited to have him transferred to Texas Children’s. The kangaroo crew came for him and we took off to Houston where they sent him to PICU as we waited for answers as to what was wrong with our baby what felt like an eternity the doctors came in to tell us he had an interrupted aortic arch and VSD. He was going to have surgery ASAP !! A week later he had his repair and we thought everything was going to be okay but no his breathing was too fast so he then had to get a procedure done in the cath lab and had to have stents put in. Gtube surgery and almost 3 months in the hospital…we finally came home yesterday 1/20/2021 and was admitted 11/3/2020.
