Hello. My son & rainbow baby Hezekiah (Ki for short) was born with CHD. He was and still is perfect. He was undiagnosed in utero and we did not find out he had CHD until about 24 hours after birth. From there we stayed two weeks in ICU. He was diagnosed with coarctation of his aorta, hypoplastic aorta arch, VSD, BAV, and a few other things. He had surgery at one week old to correct his narrowing of the aorta. He still has his VSD but it’s closing slowly. He had to go back at three months to the cath lab because his aorta had narrowed again. Today he is almost 10 months. He is the happiest baby! We are conquering CHD one day at a time.
