Our baby boy Theo is 7 weeks old. He was born with HLHS, moderate plus Tricuspid Valve Regurgitation and Aortic Atresia. Before birth, we were turned away by many hospitals, saying he was took sick for them to help him. We found our perfect fit and Theo is here with us fighting today! He has had 4 open heart surgeries, including the Norwood at 2 days old, and has a Sano shunt which has been adjusted many times. He went on ECMO (life support) for 4 days after having two cardiac arrests, however he is a fighter and doing significantly better now. He is still inpatient and likely will be so until post-op from the Glenn surgery (done around 3-6 months old) but he is also being listed for a heart transplant as a backup. Our boy is a fighter and has overcome incredible odds already! There is much more to his story, which we share on Instagram under @theos_heart.
