Why do some WubbaNubs have beans and others don’t?
We have removed the pellets from our product for sustainability reasons. It is possible that there are WubbaNubs on the market with pellets in the feet. If you would like to confirm the contents of your WubbaNub, please refer to the retail packaging and the label sewn into the plush animal. For more details please visit the sustainability page.
What is the recommended age of use?
Recommended age is newborns less than six months of age or babies without teeth (not suggested for the stage of teething).
How do I clean the WubbaNub?
Plush: Ideally hand washing is the best method. Machine washable. Place in lingerie or mesh laundry bag. Wash on gentle cycle. Remove from washer and allow to air dry. Wash nipple before use.
Pacifier Nipple: Wash nipple before initial use. Place nipple portion in warm water using a mild liquid soap. To sterilize, place nipple portion of WubbaNub into boiled water for 2 - 4 minutes. Allow to cool before use.
Sterilizer: A moist heat sterilizer unit can also be used with the WubbaNub product for sterilization.
Are WubbaNubs dishwasher safe?
For sanitary reasons, we do not recommend placing the WubbaNub in the dishwasher.
Are the beans in the limbs of the plush baby safe?
Yes! The beans are sewn in separate safety sacks within the plush. The WubbaNub conforms to the ASTM F963-96a safety code requirements and is baby safe.
My baby has a latex allergy. Is this pacifier made of latex?
This pacifier is a latex free, medical grade silicone Soothie pacifier. It is also BPA and Pthalate free.
